through an Indigenous Lens
Programs
Workshops + Culture Nights
At Indigenous Creatives Collective, we offer free workshops open to everyone in the community, providing a space to get creative and learn new skills in art and professional development. Our Culture Nights are reserved specifically for Indigenous individuals and their families to come together and learn a traditional art, craft, or skill. Each event includes snacks and a light dinner, with all supplies provided at no cost, with no registration needed.

Hands on the Land
Hands on the Land is our biannual paid land workday. During these collaborative events, we gather to complete large projects on the land while learning about planting techniques and enjoying some fun activities in between. This project has been funded in part by a Food Equity Fund award from the City of Seattle’s Department of Neighborhoods, the Earth Rising Foundation, King Conservation District, King County Flood Control District, Seattle Foundation, City of Seattle Office of Sustainability and Environment, and Seattle Peoples Fund.

Exhibitions + Installations
Indigenous Creatives Collective collaborates with PNW-based arts spaces to host art exhibits featuring artists from our Indigenous Creatives Roster as well as those in our community network. Our annual CSMOFA (Coast Salish Museum of Fine Arts) exhibition is held at the Thurston County Museum of Fine Arts in Olympia, Washington, every fall. Here on the land, we showcase artists from our Roster through land art installations and rotating displays in the Forest Gallery.
