Indigenous Wellbeing through Artmaking
on Rematriated Land

Our mission is to improve Indigenous wellbeing through artmaking, community building, and equitable creative opportunities for personal and professional growth. We offer radically inclusive, trust-based arts opportunities including exhibitions, installations, performances, residencies, markets, publications, grants, and other community-led projects.

In all our work, we center the voices of women, Two Spirit, and young people.

The Land

We are rematriating 1.5 acres of green space in South Seattle. On the property, you hear sounds of sparrows, the gurgling creek and a silent presence. Songs lost in the development of the land are returning.

On the property, one gets a sense there is something special here. You hear sounds of sparrows, a gurgling creek and a quiet, undulating presence. Old structures like an outdoor fireplace and a fountain evoke a sense of adventure and the long summer days of childhood. Through the labor and love of our community, songs once lost in the development of the land are returning to this creative green space.
